the hotel attempted to be charming, but my dreams were shattered by thin walls, leaving me to hear everything, including the street noise. i guess they thought sellotape could fix a broken window lock. i expected better treatment with my stay, perhaps an upgrade or a complimentary drink? i just couldn’t recommend this place.

Hotel feels dated, reminding one of 1960s accommodations. Dark rooms with minimal lighting, especially in the bathroom, made it challenging to get ready. The A/C system seemed old and ineffective, causing a choice between heat and street noise. Wifi was spotty, contributing to an overall frustrating experience during the stay.

luze castellana is centrally located, making it super easy to explore. we loved the daily room service that kept our space clean and fresh. it was only a short walk to the metro station, and the lovely pool area was a nice bonus to relax in.

Just an excellent fit for a quick trip in Madrid with fantastic value for money. The Nespresso coffee in the morning was a nice perk to kickstart the day. Take advantage of the nearby metro for easy city access.

Clean room was spacious with air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a nice shower. The staff was super friendly and we loved the calm atmosphere near quiet streets. Breakfast was a treat with a great selection. It's so close to metro stations and we enjoyed all the shops and restaurants nearby!

The check-in process was super smooth, and we loved the free coffee and tea options in our room. Relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool and soaking up the sun in the garden area was just what we needed. The only little downside was a slight tobacco smell in the room, but it didn’t ruin our stay. just be sure to mention it if you notice anything like that. 🌞

This place suits me perfectly with amazing amenities like 24-hour reception, air conditioning, and in-room breakfast. The staff even returned my forgotten shower bag during my first stay. I'm coming back for Easter!
